Long time no post, I have been working on a few projects in the last few months, but not as many as I would have hoped for.
Francesqa - Boy (my itunes debut:) - An acoustic B-side for their single "A Little Closer" very nice track indeed, used the antares harmony generator on it very subtly to layer up some further harmonies. The acoustic used was a very nice Taylor!
Adam Barnes - Both tracks on there, local acoustic artist who I have worked with for several years now, great tracks. Have been demoing with him over the last few weeks. Hopefully working on an EP in the next few months.
Fenkar and Newtley - Set The Clock - My good friends Chris and Lee wanted to make a song for a media college project, they came up with this, absolutely mad but amazing! I lended my voice on the track. Good tin whistle sound I think considering its the first time I have recorded anything like it, it was slightly flat so had to autotune it, worked suprisingly well.
The Closing State - Demo - Good pop punk with a +44 kinda vibe! Yet to have vocals but theyre trying to recruit more members. Ezdrummer for drums triggering Steven Slate snare and kick over the top, Eleven for guitars and bass. This was done purely in the box pretty much!
Half Naked - finished recording a small 3 track EP for them which is all on their myspace. Currently recording another 3 tracks, nice songs. Guitars were Eleven, drums had the SSD kick and snare triggered over them.
Phily K - Want never gets - possibly the finest drum sound I have achieved to date, very nice for the genre, great room sound (did it in a wood floor kitchen!) and great vocals. Love it. Nice bit of percussion added by my good friend George on this one.
So that's all I can think of for now, but ill try to keep this more updated as I go. Just got the new Slate Digital Trigger so I will let you know how I get on with it, but for now I shall leave you with this - Waves SSL plugins absolutely rock.
